The Miami Heat would reportedly take on John Wall's monster contract if it landed them Bradley Beal, according to Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald.

The Heat have expressed strong interest in acquiring Beal from the Washington Wizards, but it doesn't appear the Wizards are interested in trading the All-Star shooting guard. Wall, whose supermax contract kicks in next season, could miss the whole year recovering from heel and Achilles surgery.

According to sources, there is sentiment inside the the Heat to take the final four years and $171 million of injured point guard John Wall’s contract if it would allow Miami to land Beal, who is eligible for free agency in the summer of 2021. But Washington appears unwilling to do that at this time.

Bradley Beal has two years left on his deal. He's one of the best guards in the league and would make the Heat a contender in the Eastern Conference if he landed in South Beach next to Jimmy Butler.

This past season for the Wizards, Beal averaged 25.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists. After missing out on Russell Westbrook, the Heat are said to be exploring ways to get another star in Miami alongside Butler.

Wall put up 20.7 points and 8.7 assists in 32 games this past season before undergoing his two season ending surgeries. It's unknown what type of player the All-Star guard will be when he comes back since he's rehabbing two serious injuries.
