Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade is closing out his NBA playing career but appears to be going out in style — literally. On Monday evening, ahead of the team's matchup against the struggling Phoenix Suns, Wade trotted out to the court sporting a brand new look.

With the veteran two-guard making his exit after the conclusion of this season, Wade continues his victory lap with a smile.

“I got the moments I wanted,” Wade said earlier this month after playing in the 2019 NBA All-Star Game, via David Furones of the Sun-Sentinel. “I feel like the whole weekend has been that way. You visualize something and you hope it goes that way. It definitely has. It went way beyond the moments that I visualized and that’s all I needed.”

Wade was notably added to “Team LeBron” with Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki joining “Team Giannis” as the two legends were allowed to go out on top — and rightfully so.

“It has sunk in because this is a decision that I’ve made, to leave the game right now,” Wade said during an interview with TNT’s Kristen Ledlow ahead of this year's NBA All-Star Game. “Not being forced out, not being kicked out, walking away from the game with my head up high. I’m very thankful for all my opportunities to play with [James], to be linked to so much greatness and to be able to walk away knowing that I’m one of the greatest to play this game, I’m cool with it.”

The Heat lost to the Suns, 124-121. Wade finished the night with 13 points, three rebounds, five assists, three steals, and two blocks.
