The NBPA on Friday morning announced this year's Players' Voice awards that featured various honors given to athletes around the league.

One of which was Teammate of the Year that was rewarded to one player from each team in the NBA. In light of that, Udonis Haslem earned that award for the Miami Heat.

Haslem has spent the first 14 years of his career all with the Heat and has signed on for another season this summer on a one-year, $2.3 million deal. He currently holds the fourth-longest active streak by any player with one team in the NBA.

Although his role has continued to diminish, he has been a constant for the organization as more of a strong locker room presence than impact player on the court. He has been a big part in the establishment of the Heat's culture and a valued mentor to the younger players on the team such as Hassan Whiteside and incoming rookie big man Bam Adebayo.

It is a well-deserved award given his continued commitment to the franchise even through the tough times during his decade-plus tenure. In essence, Udonis Haslem has been the type of locker room presence that the Heat have valued highly.
