The joy of Philadelphia Eagles supporters on Sunday is beyond words. From fans of all ages, from all walks of life, regardless of gender and stature, they all rejoiced as their team finally won the Super Bowl for the first time in franchise history.

Even professional athletes from different sports who trace their roots to Philadelphia were all ecstatic about the Eagles' Super Bowl win, including Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters. He was even jumping around despite still having a cast on his ankle which he had surgery done on just recently.

The 26-year-old was then seen crying as emotions got the best of him which shows how proud he is of his hometown team.

Waiters has always been vocal about his love for his hometown, having been born and raised in Philadelphia. However, he and his family moved to New Jersey, where he starred for Life Center Academy in Burlington. His performances in high school earned him offers from different NCAA schools, but ultimately chose Syracuse among his suitors.

Waiters may have left Philadelphia, but he obviously has never forgotten his love for the city and their NFL team. In fact, he has always maintained his pride for Philly all these years.

Waiters' celebration only proves that even with him being a famous basketball player now, the Heat guard is not shy to show that he is just like any die-hard fan who will shed some tears after seeing the team he has rooted for since his younger years finally become the kings of the NFL.
