Retired Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade gave a glimpse of his next signature shoe with Li-Ning called “Way of Wade”, which honors the late all-time great Kobe Bryant.

Wade took to Instagram to share the Bryant-inspired designs of the unreleased shoe line, boasting colorways that closely identified Bryant during his legendary 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The brief clip shows three pairs of shoes, one in purple and gold, white and purple, and purple and violet. Also printed on the shoes are Bryant's two retired jerseys no.24 and no.8, accompanied by a halo on top.

The shoes' inner sole also comes with an inspiring inscription that reads: “Great things come from hard work and perseverance. No excuses”.

Dwyane Wade, meanwhile, initially represented Converse as well as the Jordan Brand early in his NBA career. After his deal with Jordan Brand ended in 2012, he went on an unconventional route in 2012 and signed with the then-unknown Chinese athletic brand Li-Ning.
