Dwyane Wade is officially back. After announcing his decision to return to the Miami Heat for one final season, Wade officially signed his new deal on Tuesday.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it's understood that Wade is only returning for one season at the veteran's minimum of $2.4 million.

Wade is entering his 16th and final season — his 15th season with Miami. The 12-time All-Star spent one full season in Chicago and part of last season with the Cleveland Cavaliers before returning to Miami in February.

Wade is easily the most accomplished player in the history of the franchise. He's a three-time champion with the organization and was the Finals MVP in 2006. Wade's legacy is already firmly entrenched in Miami lore. This last season gives him the perfect opportunity to say goodbye to the fans and vice versa.

Wade isn't near the player he was during the Heat's championship runs, but he brings a veteran presence to the team.

The possibility of making one final All-Star Game is an interesting storyline to follow this season. Wade's production has clearly fallen off, but there's a chance that fans vote Wade in as a starter. D-Wade is a no-brainer for the Hall of Fame and fans may want to see him play in the ASG one final time.

There's a precedent for this. Kobe Bryant was voted in as a starter in 2016 despite playing far below the level of an All-Star starter. There's a chance the same thing happens for Wade.
