Miami Heat legends Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem recently went on a public video call, and one of the items they discussed was their former teammate Mario Chalmers.

These two appear to have fond memories of the 6-foot-2 point guard, particularly with his incessant desire to step up in the clutch.

Wade, Haslem, Chalmers, and the rest of the Heat would go on to win back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013. With LeBron James at the helm, that was one of, if not the best Heat side we've seen in the history of the franchise. That particular team had no shortage of stars that thrived in the clutch, but still, that did not prevent Chalmers from demanding the ball when it mattered most.

As Wade said, Chalmers was one of the most confident players he's ever been around, and with Wade having played with more than a few superstars, this statement speaks volumes of the type of character Chalmers had.

One final thing before we close this out. Shout out to D.Wade who appears to be enjoying life in retirement/quarantine. We're not sure if it's his full beard or perhaps the peculiar angle of the camera, but his face does appear to be much rounder than we last remember.

After an illustrious NBA tenure, the three-time NBA champ and future Hall of Famer certainly deserves to sit back and relax now that he's called it a career.
