Miami Heat forward James Johnson delivering a monster dunk on Boston Celtics star Kyrie Irving in Thursday night's game between the two teams.

Johnson tried to give his team a huge boost in the early going by starting things off with a highlight reel dunk, and he decided to do it over one of the biggest stars in the NBA.

Irving attempted to make a defensive play, but things did not go according to plan as he was dunked on emphatically by Johnson.

Well, that's certainly one way to get the opposing team's attention, especially when you deliver this type of dunk on a star player.

Johnson entered the game averaging 8.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game this season, and he'll undoubtedly get plenty of attention after posterizing Irving.

As for the Heat, they came into the contest at 19-20 overall on the season, but they've lost back-to-back games to the Atlanta Hawks and Denver Nuggets.

Miami is trying to turn things around in this one, which is the first meeting between the two teams this season.

After this game, the Heat will prepare for a home matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday before getting ready for a long stretch that'll feature a lot of road games.
