In the 49 games he's appeared in for the Miami Heat so far this season, small forward Justise Winslow has only seen 23.3 minutes per game. However, on Monday against the Phoenix Suns, he made a case for himself to receive more playing time by having a very strong game.

In addition, he also completed a highlight-reel-worthy play that brought the fans inside American Airlines Arena, as well as his teammates on the bench, to their feet.

With less than 20 seconds left and the home team already up by a huge margin, the third-year forward out of Duke attacked the basket hard and threw down a vicious tomahawk slam which posterized two Suns players in the process. He then gave a priceless reaction to it by shaking his head and nodding on what he just pulled off.

The slam was part of a blowout victory by the Heat, 125-103, which improved their record to 34-30 for the season. The win also moved them to seventh place in the Eastern Conference with only 18 games left on their schedule.

Justise Winslow finished with a strong double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Hassan Whiteside top-scored for the South Beach team with a double-double of his own of 24 points and 14 rebounds.

The Suns have now lost three consecutive games, including 13 of their last 14 outings. They are headed to the lottery once more, and are hoping that they can add some key pieces to their roster in the summer to help them speed up their quest to become perennial playoff contenders once again.
