Tyler Herro is quickly making himself beloved among Miami Heat fans, as his electric play helped the team get to second in the Eastern Conference.

On Friday, Herro may have started building his legacy with the Heat after pulling off an insane clutch 3-point shot against the Philadelphia 76ers.

It was during the game's dying seconds when Jimmy Butler managed to strip the ball off of Joel Embiid's hands. Herro immediately took off with the ball and ran all the way to the right side of the court.

The rookie suddenly found himself all alone and decided to pull off a daring 3-point attempt.

The NBA's official Twitter account recounted those moments that saw Herro become Miami's hero.

The Sixers managed to tie the game, but it eventually ended up with the Heat winning by a single point, 117-116. Tyler Herro played spectacularly, finishing with 16 points and five assists from the bench.

This play alone should guarantee that he will get more minutes with the Heat as the season progresses. His development into a key contributor is giving Heat fans plenty of reasons to be excited about their team's future.
