After not being cleared by doctors following his repeated blood clots scare, Chris Bosh‘s future with the Miami Heat has been filled with a lot of uncertainty.

The 6-foot-11 big man made it known that he wanted to continue playing while taking medications, but his team did not agree to it. He then wanted the NBPA to mediate on his situation but they ultimately wanted the talks to be between him and the franchise. Now, a resolution has reportedly been made, as his relationship with the Heat has apparently been fixed. According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, both parties have mended their rift, but the team will still remove his salary off their books this summer.

“The organization has mended its relationship with Bosh in recent weeks, with direct contact between Bosh and the top of the organization, in advance of his impending release and removal of his salary from Miami’s cap.”

Bosh last played in the 2015-16 campaign, where he appeared for the Heat in 53 games and averaged 19.2 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 blocks per game.

Once he clears waivers, the 11-time All-Star will be able to sign with any team that's willing to extend an offer to him. At 33-years-old, he can still contribute to his next team, especially with his experience and ability to score in different ways, but what will make him more valuable is by becoming the veteran locker room leader to their young players.
