According to Hassan Whiteside, the Miami Heat series against the Charlotte Hornets is not a playoffs series, but a ‘flop offs' series.

After hearing the accusation that his Charlotte Hornets players are flopping, coach Steve Clifford took exception and fired back at the Miami.

If you want to get into career flopping between the two rosters, it wouldn't be close.

We don't have anybody that flops. We haven't had a flopping issue all year.

Whiteside sides frustration rant came after the Hornets took 30 free throws in a Game 4 win in Charlotte.

I thought this was the playoffs,” Whiteside said. Isn’t this supposed to be physical basketball? I thought the playoffs were more physical. This is the flop-offs, man. … I don’t even want to get on the calls. I got nothing to say. That’s crazy

To be fair, in the playoffs, every possession is important and foul calls are highlighted much more because of the pressure of elimination games. This is playoff basketball, and both sides have to get used to it quickly.
