Charlotte Hornets star guard Kemba Walker moved past Alonzo Mourning on the franchise's all-time rebounding list on Saturday night, per the Hornets PR official Twitter account.

Walker's six rebounds on the night were good enough to surpass Charlotte's second overall selection way back in 1992. His career 2,177 rebounds with the franchise now ranks sixth in the Hornets' history books.

Walker, who was named as an All-Star starter for the first time in his career, led Charlotte to a 125-118 victory over the Chicago Bulls. The three-time All-Star finished with a game-high 37 points on 10-of-23 shooting, and added six rebounds and 10 assists.

Mourning grabbed his 2,176 rebounds in just 215 games (three seasons) with the franchise. Walker, on the other hand, has now suited up for 575 games, which is now third on the all-time franchise list for games played.

Walker's longevity with Charlotte has allowed him get a handful of all-time counting stats records on the team's history books. Among the lists that he tops are total points, three-pointers made, and free throws made. He is also second in total field goals made behind Dell Curry, and assists behind Mugsy Bogues.

However, despite all of his records with the Hornets franchise, he hasn't had much team success with them. He has only made the post-season twice in his 8-year career with Charlotte.

With the tonight's win, Charlotte is now at 26-26 on the season, good for 7th in the weaker Eastern Conference. While this is good enough for a playoff spot, the team is far from being a threat and making some noise in the post-season.
