There is a new leading scorer in the NBA right now on the season, and that person is Charlotte Hornets star Kemba Walker.

Walker has passed Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry.

Reddit user NitroXYZ pointed this out.

Kemba Walker Has Overtaken Stephen Curry As The Current NBA Leader In Points Per Game For Season 2018-19 With 29.6

To be more exact he has 29.563 per game and overtaken Stephen Curry who is averaging 29.500 per game. He's last two games in particularly have been incredible and the Hornets where able to grind out a win against Boston. He definitely seems to be on pace for the all star game and I wonder if he could even make the an all-nba first or second team.

Walker is having one of his best years as a pro in the NBA. It should come to as no surprise Walker is leading this category. With the Hornets struggling, Walker is the only bright spot for the Hornets.

In fact, after coming off of his 60 point performance, he scored 43 points versus the Boston Celtics Monday night. Walker finished with 43 points (14-for-25 from the field and 7-for-13 from three), five assists, four rebounds and a steal.

On the season, he is averaging 29.6 points, 6.1 assists and 4.4 rebounds per game for the Hornets. He is shooting 46.5 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from three.
