The Charlotte Hornets squad is wasting no time in preparing for the upcoming season. A clip of a recent scrimmage session featuring LaMelo Ball, new recruit Kelly Oubre Jr, and a few other players is currently making its rounds on social media and it will definitely get Hornets fans hyped.

Here's a look at the brief clip that should get supporters feeling giddy with excitement (h/t Hoop Central on Twitter):

LaMelo Ball looks like he's in mid-season form already with all those slick passes. The reigning Rookie of the Year will be a key piece for the Hornets in 2021-22 as they look to secure a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.

Charlotte made a huge move in the offseason by swooping in on free agent Kelly Oubre Jr. They splashed the cash on the 25-year-old swingman, securing his services on a two-year deal worth $26 million. The Hornets had a lot of competition for the high-profile stud, but they made sure to do everything they could to bring Oubre to Charlotte.

In case you missed it, Terry Rozier was also in attendance in the practice session, and so was the high-flying Miles Bridges. It's a shame we didn't get a highlight-reel slam from Bridges as that certainly would have taken this clip to the next level.
