Michael Jordan is the greatest of all time. Not too many will contest this fact. It also so happens that Jordan is also the GOAT trash talker. Just ask Charlotte Hornets legend Larry Johnson.

Johnson, a two-time All-Star and a former Rookie of the Year winner, recently shared his first-hand experience against Michael Jordan's unmatched trash-talking prowess. Johnson was just a 22-year-old rookie when he first met Jordan, and let's just say it was an encounter he would never forget for the rest of his life:

“The first time I met him, we walked out on the court docket, and he walks straight as much as me and goes, ‘How’s Dorothy?’” Johnson said  of Jordan in a recent appearance on the Knucklheads podcast, via newsrush.

“He said, ‘How’s Dorothy?' I couldn’t play the whole game. He walked up to me and asked me how my mom was. Used her name. Used her name. He done went in the program and saw my mom’s name was Dorothy. Went in the program, used my mom’s name. I think I scored eight points. I was averaging 24.”

Johnson absolutely did not see that coming and it clearly had an effect on his game. Not only did Michael Jordan destroy him on the court, but the former Chicago Bulls star messed him up in the head pretty badly as well.

Johnson would go on to have a memorable NBA career and he's widely considered as one of the greatest Hornets players of all time. Needless to say, however, Jordan had quite an effect on him early on.
