LaMelo Ball's arrival in Charlotte, North Carolina has brought a lot of excitement to the team desperately in need of on-court success. But one hilarious side effect is the never-ending stream of Ball brother reunion rumors.

The latest buzz surrounds the middle Ball brother, LiAngelo. Their grandfather and LaVar's father Big Yank dropped some news on the Hornets reported interest in the scoring guard. Although obviously the noise could be nothing but Ball-induced chatter, which isn't new to this family one bit, it was interesting to see that Gelo didn't join the Big Baller Brand team in the Drew League.

Now we understand where LaVar Ball gets his web-spinning skills from. Kidding aside, could there possibly be any truth to the circulating speculation? While Gelo isn't nearly the hoops prospect that LaMelo or Lonzo were when they entered the league, he's been on the NBA fringes for quite some time. He's been vocal about working his way towards an opportunity in the league, whenever that may come.

LiAngelo Ball has had a brief stint playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder's G League affiliate, the OKC Blue, and also had a training camp invite from the Detroit Pistons in the past. It'll be interesting to see if the Hornets actually have real interest or it's just another Ball family member blowing smoke. Something tells us it might be the latter, but stranger things have happened.
