Miles Bridges is without a doubt one of the best dunkers in the NBA right now. On the other hand, Giannis Antetokounmpo also happens to be one of the top defenders in the game today. Naturally, these two stars just had to collide on Thursday when the Milwaukee Bucks hosted the Charlotte Hornets.

Their best encounter on the evening came early in the second quarter. Giannis ended up a few seconds late as he attempted to contest an alley-oop finish by the Hornets forward. Unfortunately for Antetokounmpo, it ended in disaster for him (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

Giannis is never the one to shy away from plays like these and you have to give him credit for trying to stop Bridges here. However, the Hornets star just put him on a poster with an absolutely disrespectful slam.

If you got excited about that dunk then you're definitely not alone. I'm just not sure you could match the level of enthusiasm of this commentator as he witnessed one of the top dunks of the season thus far. Volume up, please:

The Hornets stud did put Giannis in the basket with this play. This is a dunk that's certainly going to make it to Bridges' growing collection of posters.
