The Charlotte Hornets are expected to be active this summer, with numerous decisions to make ahead of Free Agency. Miles Bridges is looking for a max deal, but there is some doubt that the Hornets will actually put that type of extension on the table. Nevertheless, he is an RFA, which means the organization can match any offer he receives from another team.

With that in mind, the Hornets could be looking to trade off some pieces in order to actually pay Bridges without feeling the financial hit.

Via Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report:

The Hornets are expected to gauge trade interest in Terry Rozier, P.J. Washington, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Mason Plumlee in advance of Bridges' restricted free agency.

Now, it's important to note there is no guarantee all of these players will be gone. There will simply be interest in them. Rozier is coming off a respectable season, averaging 19.3 points, 4.5 assists, and 4.3 rebounds in 73 games. He's probably the most surprising name on this list because of how important he was to the Hornets' success alongside LaMelo Ball and Bridges. Washington also made his presence felt in 2021-22, but his numbers were down slightly from the last two seasons.

The Hornets will definitely want to keep Miles Bridges after his impressive campaign therefore parting ways with a couple of other rotational players could be the answer in order to give him a big payday.
