Tuesday's game between the Charlotte Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers, may not be the most intriguing matchup on paper, but many were still looking forward to it as it features two of the best centers in the league today in Dwight Howard and Joel Embiid.

It did not take long for the two to take center stage. As early as the first quarter of action, the 13-year veteran sent a strong message to Embiid that he will need to be at his best to score against him.

After receiving the ball off a good pass from Ben Simmons, The Process attempted to score on a semi-hook near the basket. However, Howard was up to the challenge and swatted it emphatically, to the delight of the crowd inside Spectrum Center.

Safe to say that Howard got the better of Embiid tonight as the former registered 30 points, six rebounds, and three blocks, while the latter had sub-par performance, based on his standard, only having 18 points, five rebounds, and four assists to brag about.

While the former Defensive Player of the Year may have won the one head-to-head against one of the league's best big men today, the Sixers still came away with the road victory, 128-114, led by Ben Simmons' all-around mastery.
