Charlotte Hornets guard Malik Monk had his two easiest points of the season set up on a silver platter for him during the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors. All he had to was lay the ball in the hoop on an unimpeded fast break, and he would have extended his team's commanding lead even further. Unfortunately for Monk, he went for the ferocious jam, which resulted in this:

The conclusion of the video shows Monk watching the replay in disbelief, which won't exactly aide his wounds of having missed a free two points. He ultimately finished the night with eight points across 16 minutes, but there's little reason that he couldn't have collected 10, had he merely not tried to dunk the ball through the heart of the rim at a hellacious speed.
