The Charlotte Hornets fell short against the Boston Celtics as the young team is still racking up experience. However, Malik Monk did give Hornets fans who watched the game something to cheer about during the fourth quarter of their 93-119 loss.

It was a beautiful slam by Monk over an Enes Kanter who tried to stop him from getting to the rim. The elevation he showcased during the highlight is nothing short of ridiculous and is an easy inclusion to the Top Ten Plays of the Week.

Dime shared another take of the beautiful highlight.

The level of elevation the 6'3″ guard out of Lepanto, AR was simply extraordinary. It was a pure, unadulterated display of athleticism

As emphatic as that slam was, that was one of the few positive contributions he had to the game. In the 20 minutes he had on the floor, he missed four of his five shot attempts. In addition to his three points, he also grabbed two rebounds and an assist.

The dunker is having a slightly better year, averaging 10 points, three rebounds, and two assists in 31 games. However, he and his team needs to perform better if they're going to accelerate their rebuild.
