Chicago Bulls legend and Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan hauled in a 442.3-pound marlin while fishing at the Big Rock Blue marlin fishing tournament in North Carolina on Tuesday.

Jordan, on board with his crew on the “Catch 23” boat, was seen on video coming ashore with the prized fish in Morehead City.

The Hornets have been eliminated for the 2019-20 NBA season as the league restarts on July 31, giving the franchise owner more time to fish.

“It’s been a while since I’ve been back in Morehead City,” said Jordan, who has competed in fishing tournaments in the past, per Mark Fischer of the New York Post. “It’s only about 100 miles from Wilmington [where Jordan grew up], and it’s always great for me to be able to come back. I’m happy to be back. Thank you for inviting me.”

Nobody knows what the marlin said to Michael Jordan for His Airness to take it personally, ultimately leading to the fish on a line.
