LA Clippers superstar Kawhi Leonard is known to have the deadliest mid-range jumpers in the NBA. In a recent interview, Leonard's longtime trainer Clint Parks explained to ClutchPoints how he mastered the art of the mid-range jumper.

“A mid-range jumper is a layup for Kawhi,” Parks said. “I could honestly say since when I first met him when he was 14 years old, he always loved to work hard. Nothing has changed, over all these years and the success he’s had, he still works like he’s trying to make the team every year. He’s never going to get content, he came back from an injury and still won the NBA championship last year. When the season starts next year or whenever it comes back, I can promise you he’s going to come back the same way.

Coming into the league, Leonard wasn't that great offensively and had trouble shooting the ball. However, due to his hard work, his shooting has improved tremendously over the years.

NBA legend Kobe Bryant worked out with Leonard in Southern California before his first and only season with the Toronto Raptors, and before his first season with the Clippers. Those offseason workouts seemed to pay off, as Leonard has made a total of 222 mid-range jumpers this season, resulting in a whopping conversion rate of 47%.

Before the NBA's hiatus, Leonard was having the best season of his career. He was averaging 26.9 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in 32.2 minutes per game. Leonard was also shooting 46 percent from the field and 36 percent from beyond the arc.
