The Hyrule Warriors Expansion Pass 2 will be coming this October, Nintendo announced.

Wave 1 of the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass came out back in June, adding one new character, a weapon, and new weapons. Hyrule Warriors Expansion Pass 2 will be no different. It will introduce Purah and Robbie as new playable characters in the game, albeit they appear to be two characters in one. Another, yet unrevealed, new playable character will arrive in Expansion Pass 2. The second expansion pass will also feature a new story, new stages, and added actions for existing characters.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass 2's release date will be on October 29, 2021, on the Nintendo eShop.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity explores the past events a hundred years before The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It gives a lot of background information and lays the groundwork in the game's story building, something that will surely come in handy for the upcoming Breath of the Wild sequel. While being a semi-essential piece for The Legend of Zelda fans, Hyrule Warriors features a completely different playstyle as most Zelda games. As it is in most of Omega Force's games, Hyrule Warriors is a fast-paced power fantasy hack-and-slash game.
