NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport doesn't seem to think that Blake Bortles will be back with the team following the 2018 season.

Bortles has not played for the team since being benched prior to the Week 13 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, which saw the Jaguars earn a 6-0 victory over their divisional rival.

The reason for Bortles' benching was pretty clear as he had another lackluster performance in the 24-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills, and that may turn out to be his last game as the team's starter.

Here's what Rapoport had to say on the Thursday Night Football pregame show about the potential changes to the Jacksonville roster and why the most significant will come at the quarterback position.

“Their biggest move will involve Bortles. Just a few months after torching New England, he'll be gone. His replacement could come via the draft, or free agency, or both,” Rapoport said.

It would be no surprise at all to see Jacksonville decide to go in another direction. Despite the team's success last season, they've taken a significant step back in winning just four games thus far this year while looking completely out of sync on both sides of the ball.

That will no doubt force the front office to make many important changes heading into next season in hopes of getting back to their winning ways on the field.

The Jaguars are in Nashville tonight for another divisional matchup against the Tennessee Titans. Tennessee won the previous meeting between the two back in Week 3.
