During the summer of 2019, Golden State Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry purchased a three-story mansion at the end of a small cul de sac in Atherton, CA, for a whopping $31 million. At the time of the purchase, it was the biggest real estate acquisition not just in Atherton, but also in the entire Bay Area. It's also worth noting that this beautiful house was never formally on the market.

Curry's majestic home sits on a 1.2-acre lot, all of which is protected by a security gate. The house is also tucked away from photographers and fans who may try to catch a peek of the property from the street.

Stephen and Ayesha Curry's mansion features a combination of contemporary and traditional architectural styles, as well as numerous terraces, formal gardens and a guest house at the far back end of the lot.

Noteworthy amenities include a swimming pool with a poolside cabana, a built-in barbecue and a fireplace. It's safe to say Curry's three kids, Riley, Ryan and Canon, are having a blast living here.

Renderings for this estate show a long gated driveway with off-street parking for at least a half-dozen vehicles. The glassy house is also surrounded on all sides by lush plantings and native flora.

Unfortunately, there aren't many pictures of the interior, but Variety speculated that Curry's house shares more than a passing resemblance to this Atherton megamansion.

Curry's Atherton mansion will run him approximately $330,000 in annual property taxes alone. However, the Warriors legend can afford it, as he signed a massive five-year, $201.2 million contract with Golden State in the summer of 2017. It was the Designated Veteran Player Extension.

When Curry’s current contract with the Warriors expires, the two-time MVP and three-time champion will have made $257,250,833 in NBA money, per Spotrac. Not bad for a guy who some draft experts thought was going to be a bust in the league.

Curry has career NBA averages of 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.6 assists with the Warriors. He has already established himself as the greatest shooter in league history and it's not even close. Steph will eventually pass Hall of Famer Ray Allen for most 3-pointers in NBA history.
