Three-time world champions T1 has announced a potentially exciting collaboration on their official Twitter. It appears that T1 will be holding an event alongside the world famous Kpop boy group, BTS. Fans have speculated that Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok could potentially be a guest in BTS’ variety show.

The short teaser tweet even caught the attention of the prominent North American esports organization, Team Liquid. TL joked about the possibility of Faker transferring his talents over to the Kpop boy group.

Faker himself expressed his gratitude at being invited as an official guest on Run BTS.

It’s an honor and I’m so thankful that I was invited as the first official guest on BTS’s ‘Run BTS’. It was especially a very enjoyable experience to meet the members in person and we were able to share about each other’s professions. It wasn’t a long time, but I was happy that I was able to meet the people who made a great impact on Korean Culture.

Faker is no stranger to competing with Kpop stars given his past experience in a special charity event organized by OGN. Faker, alongside his teammates in SK Telecom T1, competed against select members of the girl group Gugudan to benefit child safety in South Korea. The SKT x Gugudan event featured two show matches on the single-lane Howling Abyss map featuring five SKT players and five members of Gugudan. Prior to this team-up, Faker and the rest of his team expressed their admiration for the girl group.

Fans of both League of Legends and Kpop will have something to look forward to once they release more details about the collaboration.
