Isaiah Thomas came to the defense of his teammate, Kelly Olynyk, after Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green called him a “dirty, dirty player” during the latest episode of his podcast.

The Boston Celtics All-Star point guard took offense to Green's statement, especially with his history of flailing legs and hitting his defenders in the sensitive parts of the body. Thomas added, via Jay King of Mass Live, that he doesn't understand why the 26-year-old Michigan State product made the comment against Olynyk, and even called him a joke for saying that.

“I mean, I don't know how he can call anybody dirty. But it is what it is. Everybody's got a comment or something to say about others, I guess.

“It's a joke that he said that. We can't worry about what others are saying or doing.”

Known to be outspoken and never shy to fire back at his critics, Green took to his Twitter account to send a message to the 5-foot-9 point guard. He told him to mind his own business and focus on their series against the Washington Wizards instead.

The Dubs are now safely into the Western Conference Finals after sweeping the Utah Jazz. The Celtics on the other hand are in a tough battle against the Wizards, who have evened their series at two games apiece.

Should both teams make it through their respective conferences, it will be very interesting to see them compete for the championship. However, it won't be easy seeing a Warriors-Celtics finals, as the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers, Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs will all do their best to not allow it to happen.
