Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone and general manager David Caldwell have been retained for this season, but if they struggle it could be the end of the road, which makes this draft ultra-important. They need to hit on a player who can make an instant impact with the ninth overall pick.

Let's dive in and take a look at three potential first-round targets for the Jaguars in the 2020 NFL Draft.

3. Jerry Jeudy, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Jerry Jeudy has lit up SEC defenses all season and he should continue to do that in the NFL. Jeudy has some of the best feet in the draft, which makes it very easy to get off the line of scrimmage. Once he is off the line, he can set up cornerbacks with nifty moves that allow him to fly by. He is also one of the quickest players in the draft that allows him to outrun almost anyone on the field.

This is a loaded wide receiver class, so even if the team doesn't go after Jeudy they should use one of their first three picks on a wide receiver.

2. Isaiah Simmons, Linebacker/Safety, Clemson

Isaiah Simmons is a hybrid linebacker and safety that could play both positions in the NFL, but right now it looks like he is going to be a linebacker. The Jaguars have Myles Jack locked up long-term and they thought they had the same with Telvin Smith, but he decided to step away from the team before the season and it's unclear if he will ever come back.

Simmons does have a bit of an odd body for a linebacker, but he has the speed that is going to be a problem for opposing offenses. He is going to be able to cover anyone on the field and should be an instant impact player.

1. Andrew Thomas, Offensive Tackle, Georgia

Andrew Thomas comes from a family filled with athletes and he looks to be the best offensive tackle on the board. If he is still on the board when the Jaguars select ninth, the team shouldn't overthink it, he is the play. Thomas' strength is with run blocking, but he has also proven himself to be a good pass protector too.

He also has good feet that allows him to move around well, and not often is he going to be beaten off the line by anyone. This might not be the sexiest pick, but having a good offensive line is important. If the Jaguars want to improve they will select Thomas.
