Eason was an elite passer at Washington when he was protected and had a clean pocket. That fits into the Colts' system because they rebuilt their offensive line in hopes of keeping Luck healthy. This includes drafting Quenton Nelson who is one of the top offensive lineman in the league.

Eason played one year at Washington after transferring from Georgia. He threw for 3,132 yards with 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He is currently ranked as the No. 5 quarterback prospect in the draft behind Burrow, Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert, and Jordan Love. This is good news for the Colts because there is a great chance he is available to No. 13. All signs are pointing to this being a perfect match.
