Despite the fact that the Pittsburgh Steelers are floating around the .500 mark after a win in Week 8, starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett and the Indianapolis Colts should thrive against Pittsburgh in Week 9.

With the Colts narrowly defeating the lowly Denver Broncos at home and the Steelers coming back to beat the winless Miami Dolphins, it now appears as though these teams may be closer in skill level than they really are. However, thanks to the consistent preparation led by Colts head coach Frank Reich week after week, Brissett and company will be more than ready to take down the 3-4 Steelers come Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh.

Not only that, but expect the Colts to improve to 6-2 on the year with Brissett primed to have a huge game against a beatable Steelers defense.

Jacoby Brissett will throw for over 350 yards

With the abrupt retirement of former Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck paving the way for Jacoby Brissett under center, the backup turned starter has already made the most of his newfound opportunity. With Brissett leading the Colts to a stellar 5-2 start to the year, Luck's former backup has been slinging the rock all over the field en route to victory.

Even after the Colts barely defeated a struggling Denver Broncos team at home this past week, there is no time like the present for Indianapolis to rebound in a big way. If the Colts are going to keep things headed in the right direction this season, Brissett will need to utilize his arm more often than not. Obviously getting the ball to the likes of T.Y. Hilton, Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle remain a priority while Brissett will do just that against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Brissett will not only have a big game, but he will notably throw for over 350 yards in Week 9.

Jacoby Brissett will rush for over 50 yards

Because teams are no longer surprised by the success of head coach Frank Reich and his Indianapolis Colts, the opposition can continue to properly gameplan for quarterback Jacoby Brissett and company. However, while the Pittsburgh Steelers and other teams from around the league will be preparing for a heavy dosage of T.Y. Hilton, Eric Ebron and others, Brissett still possesses the ability to use his legs as well.

With the Steelers forced to concern themselves with Hilton and the rest of the Colts' offensive weapons, even if the coverage downfield is solid, Brissett will be able to use his legs to produce first downs in Week 9. Expect Brissett to rush for over 50 yards against the Steelers as his scrambling ability will be on full display both in the passing and rushing games.

Jacoby Brissett will account for five touchdowns

Being just one week removed from barely defeating the Denver Broncos, the Indianapolis Colts will show everyone from around the NFL just how powerful the team's offense can be when it is running on all cylinders. Not only with Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett throw a whopping three touchdown passes on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he also will rush for two more scores. Because of the Colts' low-scoring affair in Week 8, Indianapolis will bounce right back with a huge offensive day against the Steelers will Brissett leading the way from start to finish.

On the contrary, Pittsburgh is coming fresh off of a win over the winless Miami Dolphins, which could provide some false confidence heading into the team's upcoming matchup.
