The Indianapolis Colts faced the Oakland Raiders in Week 4 and unfortunately suffered their second loss of the season. In the game, Jacoby Brissett had a decent outing, but his team fell to the Raiders 31-24 on Sunday.

Coming into the season, there was some skepticism with how Brissett would perform as the starting quarterback in Indianapolis. Of course, Brissett was asked to step in as the starter after Andrew Luck suddenly retired.

Prior to Sunday, the Colts quarterback played well in the first three games of the season with 646 yards, seven touchdowns, and one interception. On top of that, Brissett was fairly efficient, completing nearly 72 percent of his passes in the previous three weeks.

Then, on Sunday, the Colts franchise quarterback struggled with his accuracy and decision making. In light of that, what grade does Brissett deserve for his performance in Week 4 against the Raiders?

Jacoby Brissett Week 4 Grade: C+

From the moment the game began, the Colts offense was unable to get much of anything going. On the other hand, Oakland was able to jump out to a 14-0 lead early in the first quarter.

Indianapolis was able to respond with a five-yard touchdown pass from Brissett to Jack Doyle late in the first quarter. Unfortunately, the Colts were unable to get into the end zone again until the fourth quarter—when it was already too late.

Throughout the game, Brissett was constantly inaccurate on his throws and was missing receivers. Furthermore, after completing nearly 72 percent of his passes in the first three games, Brissett completed just 24 0f his 46 attempts (52 percent) on Sunday.

Along with his inaccuracy, the 26-year-old quarterback ended up throwing a game-changing interception late in the fourth quarter. The Colts had a chance to make a valiant comeback after they made the game 24-17 with nearly five minutes remaining.

Then, Indianapolis gained possession of the ball with slightly more than two minutes to work with. Sadly, Brissett wasn't able to lead the team down the field to fulfill the comeback in Week 4.

Instead, the Colts quarterback ended the team's chances of winning when he threw a pick-six to Erik Harris to make it a 14-point deficit with under two minutes remaining. His interception coupled with his inaccuracy throughout the game is why Brissett deserves to get a grade of a C+ on Sunday.

The Colts signal-caller will have a chance to bounce back in Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.
