Denver Broncos cornerback A.J. Bouye is a superstar. He is considered one of the best in the NFL at his position. But he hasn't always enjoyed his time in the league. According to Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk, Bouye had to manage a tumultuous time when he played for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

“I just never was a part of something like that … Being in Houston before that and even seeing how the guys in Denver just gelling together with the chemistry between the players and the coaches. It was just something different and I didn’t know how to handle that … It was so many things. From fighting in the locker room and disagreements to people wanting to be gone, I’ve just never seen that before.”

Bouye also cited egocentric teammates, poor game planning and “the Tom Coughlin thing” as among the Jaguars' many problems, per Alper.

Bouye spent his first four years in the NFL with the Houston Texans. From there, he went to the Jaguars in 2017. And he quickly blossomed into a star in Jacksonville.

However, things clearly went south for Bouye and the team, as it did for other of his Jaguars teammates. The cornerback did not like it and eventually managed to get traded to the Broncos in March.

It looks like Bouye is already excited to be with the Broncos. Denver is definitely tending in the right direction, and the star cornerback's talent should help. He also seems happy to be in a more functional locker room again.
