The Jacksonville Jaguars are getting a boost in their frontline for the upcoming season. Incoming fourth-year Offensive tackle Cam Robinson is finally healthy and ready to go after missing significant time due to an ACL injury.

“Health wise, it’s like night and day,” Robinson said on Tuesday via virtual conference call. “Last year, I was just trying to get on the field. Even at this point, I don’t even think I was cleared yet at this point last year. When I did get cleared, I ended up having another injury. For me, it’s like night and day, finally being able to be healthy. I am looking forward to it.”

“Last year with the Jaguars was more so me trying to get healthy, it was training but I was trying to get back on the field. This year, going into the offseason, being healthy, to where I can train and get stronger and work on football. That is going to be very beneficial.”

The Jaguars selected Robinson with the 34th pick in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was named the Jaguars starting left tackle as a rookie and started 15 games. However, in Week 2 of the 2018 season against the New England Patriots, Robinson suffered a torn ACL and was placed on injured reserve on September 17, 2018.

The former Alabama Crimson Tide spent the majority of last season rehabbing from his injury. With his looming return comes a brand-new offense headed by Jacksonville's new offensive coordinator Jay Gruden.

Entering the final year of his contract, Robinson is expected to ball out for his squad. His contribution will hopefully help the Jaguars to bounce back from a dismal 6-10 record last season.
