May we all have the confidence coursing through the veins of rookie Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dede Westbrook.

Westbrook, who will be making his National Football League debut against the Cleveland Browns, made a rather bold proclamation about what will happen in his first game.

“My expectations are high,” Westbrook said on “Teal & Black Blitz” on SportsRadio 930, via ESPN.com. “I always set the standard high for myself. For me, and this has nothing to do with the Cleveland Browns at all, but my expectation is a 200-yard receiving game. Of course that’s going to come with me and Blake [Bortles] being on the same page most of the game, but at the end of the day, that’s the expectations that I have for myself this weekend.”

A 200-yard receiving game? My goodness would that be a ton of yards for his debut.

Dede Westbrook, for those unaware, was a fourth-round pick in April. He missed the first nine games of his rookie season while recovering from core muscle surgery.

It obviously doesn't help him that the man playing quarterback for the Jaguars isn't exactly known as a competent gunslinger. Also, there's the entire idea that he might not exactly see the field a ton when Jacksonville plays Cleveland. After all, it wouldn't be entirely shocking if the coaching staff wants to ease him back into the rotation.

Nevertheless, Dede Westbrook has the confidence we should all inspire to one day have. He's a hero to those who need not to see factual data, but just need to believe in their own self — or something.
