There's a huge chance that the Jacksonville Jaguars will be able to pick up DeeJay Dallas in the NFL Draft. For Dallas and a multitude of Jaguars fans, having him join the team he's supported most of his life would be a dream situation.

As Dallas and the rest of the rookies went through the strenuous NFL Combine, the press managed to get a hold of Dallas, asking him about the opportunity to play for his hometown Jaguars.

Jacksonville(dot)com wrote about his thoughts, and the young running back is thrilled by the thought:

″It would mean a lot if I go to the Jaguars,″ Dallas said Wednesday via the Florida Times-Union. ″I just feel like I would be a hometown hero, honestly. That’s my area – Jacksonville, South Georgia area, North Florida. That’s where I made my mark.″

Dallas would be a terrific option for the Jaguars if they decide to pick him up. In his final year with Miami, Dallas carried the ball 115 times for 693 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. His 140 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns also make him a viable receiving option for teams.

Hopefully, Dallas will be available by the time the Jaguars decide to burn a pick on him. However, nothing ever works as planned. Whichever team picks him will acquire a talented running back to boost their depth.
