When the Jacksonville Jaguars signed Tim Tebow, it was only a matter of time before someone like Dez Bryant reacted to the news with the fury of 1,000 Nic Cage movies.

Bryant, who wanted back in the NFL for years before he finally got another chance with the Baltimore Ravens in 2020, took to social media to voice his frustrations; though, to be fair to him, his angst wasn't directed at Tim Tebow. More so the overall idea of what was going on.

Dez Bryant “Facts” On Jaguars Signing Tim Tebow

Don't believe me? Here's Dez Bryant in his own words!

Tim Tebow is fresh off not playing organized football in nearly a decade. It can be argued — and it certainly has — that the only reason he's getting this chance is since he played under new Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer while the two were winning a bunch of games at Florida.

Oh, Meyer and Tebow also happened to be literal neighbors. Maybe the Jaguars coach is just worried about awkwardness when seeing his neighbor while going out to grab the newspaper. Ah, who am I kidding? No one gets the newspaper anymore!

Alas, Dez Bryant has a point. That said, the further removed he is from playing in the league, the less likely he'll be to make an argument about time removed from the National Football League.

Nonetheless, I can't wait until Madden 22 comes out and I edit Tim Tebow so he is actually the quarterback for the Jaguars. Some folk like me just like to watch the world burn.
