After being a limited participant all week, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver D.J. Chark is questionable to play on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, the team announced.

Chark left Week 14's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers in a boot. He suffered a left ankle injury and ultimately missed Week 15's win over the Oakland Raiders. Despite the injury, coach Doug Marrone expects him to suit up on Sunday,

He was limited today, but he didn’t miss that much,” Marrone said on Friday on Chark's workload in practice on Friday, via Demetrius Harvey of SB Nation. “So he’s done a great job. When you’re having a type of season like this, he’s a guy that as soon as he was injured was like, ‘I’m going to play. I’m going to be back next week,’ which he wasn’t. But, the attitude, that’s what you want to see.”

Chark wished he had played against the Raiders, considering the weather and historical impact of that being the last football game in Oakland for the Raiders.

“That was tough, you know, definitely not being there,” Chark said shortly after practice on Friday, via Harvey. “I love playing in games where it’s like super sunny, and it looked perfect out there. All the historic background behind that game, I really, really wanted to play. But you know I couldn’t.”

A second-year LSU product, Chark is the Jaguars' No. 1 option, no matter who plays quarterback. On the season, the 6-4, 198-pound speedster has 67 receptions for 956 yards and eight touchdowns.
