Only four teams in the NFL remain in the race for Super Bowl LII. Three of the four teams weren't expected to get this far, especially the Jacksonville Jaguars. The current quarterback situation for three of these teams isn't ideal while the New England Patriots have become accustomed to being this deep in the postseason on an annual basis with Tom Brady under center.

Ahead of the AFC Championship Game against Brady and company, Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone talked about his upcoming matchup against Bill Belichick's Patriots. Marrone, like the majority, isn't surprised that his team isn't favored against New England, via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk.

Marrone noted that the Patriots are always favored, and he’s right: The Patriots have been the favorites in all 18 games they’ve had this season and postseason.

“When you’re playing against New England, who hasn’t been an underdog?” Marrone said.

According to Bovada, the Patriots are currently heavy favorites (-9) to advance to the Super Bowl for the third time in four years. New England is coming off a win over the Tennessee Titans who barely put up a fight against the defending champions, 35-14.

Whether Brady and his high-powered offense can continue to fire on all cylinders remains to be seen. All signs point to the Patriots advancing once again, but Jacksonville is not a team to be overlooked as the Pittsburgh Steelers can undoubtedly attest to following last weekend's result.

The Jaguars were more than prepared to take on Mike Tomlin's squad as they were in control the entire game. Pittsburgh may have mounted an impressive comeback, but it still wasn't enough to take down the Jaguars who can be a force on both sides of the football.

It'll be interesting to see if this up-and-coming Jacksonville team can pull off another upset on the road with all odds against them making it to the Super Bowl for the first time in the franchise's history.
