The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to have their starting secondary intact on Thursday night despite the trade request from Jalen Ramsey. Along with Ramsey, the Jaguars anticipate A.J. Bouye being active against the Tennessee Titans, per Ian Rapoport.

Bouye got off to a slow start in Week 1 when the Jaguars hosted the high-flying offense of the Kansas City Chiefs. The veteran cornerback surrendered four receptions to Chiefs wide receivers and was given an overall grade of 52.8 by Pro Football Focus.

During the 40-26 loss to the Chiefs, Bouye suffered a hip injury that caused him to miss a couple of practices. As a result, the seventh-year cornerback missed Jacksonville's Week 2 bout against the Houston Texans. In his absence, D.J. Hayden and Tre Herndon received more time in the secondary.

Luckily for the Jaguars, Bouye has been able to increase his work in practice this week and is trending toward playing versus the Titans. With the Jaguars beginning the season at 0-2, they see this game as a must-win contest against a division rival.

Bouye is in his third season in Jacksonville after he spent his first four seasons in the NFL with the Texans. Over the past couple of years, Bouye and Ramsey have been one of the most formidable cornerback duos in the NFL. The two talented cornerbacks have combined for 14 interceptions since 2017.

After Jacksonville's loss to the Texans on Sunday, Ramsey requested a trade from the team. Therefore, we could be seeing the last game where Bouye and Ramsey are lined up on the field together on Thursday night.
