Trevor Lawrence's first season with the Jacksonville Jaguars didn't go as planned. He had more interceptions thrown than touchdowns, and his pass completion rate was not that good as well.

However, it's just his rookie year, and if the recent comments of Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke are any indication, the young QB is set to have a significantly better sophomore campaign in 2022.

Speaking on the O-Zone Podcast, Baalke shared the noticeable changes he noticed on Lawrence this offseason. Not only did the 22-year-old improve his skillset, but he has also grown to be more confident.

“He's just more confident,” Baalke said, via Sports Illustrated. “You know, he's carrying himself with more confidence. He's delivering the ball quicker. He's continuing to do that. I've seen that through the course of the offseason, getting the ball out of his hands, being more decisive.”

Of course Trevor Lawrence is not the only one to blame for his rough start to his career. He was not put in good position to succeed by Urban Meyer, and the distractions the former Jaguars coach brought to them certainly didn't help.

With a fresh start, a year of pro-level football under his belt and better offseason training, however, things seem to be trending in the right direction for Lawrence.

Hopefully, Jaguars fans get to see more results this 2022.
