Despite the rumors of a potential trade, Jalen Ramsey doesn't seem to be going anywhere, especially if you hear the Jacksonville Jaguars tell it.

According to ProFootballTalk, general manager Dave Caldwell has made clear that the Jaguars have no interest in trading Ramsey:

“We’re not going to trade Jalen. When you have a player that’s one of the top at his position, it’s hard to replace that player. He’s highly competitive and I think sometimes that might get the most of him,” Caldwell said. “He just had to learn to curtail some of that stuff.”

ESPN reported back in November that Ramsey could be traded in the offseason. Much of the speculation arose thanks to Ramsey's cryptic comment on Twitter:

But Ramsey later addressed the tweet himself, saying that the comment had nothing to do with him leaving the Jaguars, and everything to do with the so-called “fake fans” that only cheered for the team when it was winning.

In the past, Jalen Ramsey said that he was interested in playing for “one team” for the entirety of his career, but his behavior has raised questions with the team's brass. The outspoken cornerback has made headlines multiple times in recent years because of his brash opinions — both about himself and opposing players.

However, whatever the issues, the Jaguars seem to be willing to make things work. Caldwell also said that people who have a problem with Jalen Ramsey have the problem because they don't like him as a person, and they need to get over themselves.
