The Jacksonville Jaguars have been a bit of a tailspin over the last couple of weeks with their play that has seen them come back down to a .500 mark through the first six games played.

This has most recently added upon with a disappointing 40-7 loss to the Dallas Cowboys last Sunday that has drawn much scrutiny about the state of the team this season. However, this isn't something that that head coach Doug Marrone has drawn any panic or concern from the team aside from being frustrated by the team's performance on the field, according to Mark Long of The Associated Press.

The Jaguars had nothing short of a disappointing showing against the Cowboys that saw them muster up just one scoring drive the entire contest while their defense struggled to find an answer against Dallas. In fact, quarterback Blake Bortles was unable to be a factor in the game as he completed 15-of-26 passes for 149 yards with a touchdown and interception, a 29.6 quarterback rating, and was sacked three times. Jacksonville was only able to tally up 204 total offensive years along with just 10 first downs and a pair of turnovers in the loss.

What was more mind-boggling is that the Jaguars defense couldn't stop the Cowboys that saw them get dominated in the time of possession 39 to 21 minute. Meanwhile, Dallas' running game led controlled the flow of the game with them rushing for 206 yards with Pro Bowl running back Ezekiel Elliott and quarterback Dak Prescott combining for 188 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

If there is anything to take away from the contest for the Jaguars, it is that it should further drive them to get back on track as they are in a three-way tie atop of the AFC South with the Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans for the division lead. All of this shifts a tremendous amount of importance to their Week 7 matchup at home against the Texans with their eyes directed on getting back on track.
