The Jacksonville Jaguars starting tailback James Robinson missed practice on Wednesday, this time with a knee injury. Robinson had returned to game action last week from a heel injury that cost him the Week 9 win against the Buffalo Bills.

National Insider for NFL Network reported the missed practice with the caveat that it might be precautionary and seems minor. However, seeing as Robinson has been plagued with minor injuries throughout the season, it is worth keeping an eye on during the week.

In his return last week, Robinson was on the field for 59% of the team's offensive snaps. He ran the ball 12 times for 57 yards and a rushing touchdown. Robinson added 27 yards receiving on four catches as well.

James Robinson, coming off a breakout season in 2020, came out of the gates slow this season. He garnered only 16 carries for 72 yards in the first two weeks combined. That had fantasy managers concerned. That all went away over the next four weeks when Jaguars RB Robinson scored 19 or more fantasy points in PPR leagues each week.

But coming off the Jaguars Week 7 bye week was when James Robinson hurt his heel and left the game early vs the Seattle Seahawks. In his absence, Carlos Hyde filled in admirably.

Because Robinson returned and performed well, Hyde may be sitting as a free agent in your league. The Jacksonville Jaguars host the 49ers Sunday. San Francisco is middle of the pack in fantasy points allowed to running backs.

Hyde is worth a speculative add if you are in need of a bye week fill-in or if you have Robinson.
