Jacksonville Jaguars star cornerback did confirm that he made a trade request after Sunday's game, but also made it clear that he doesn't want to be a distraction to the team. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media, Ramsey is preparing for Thursday night's game against the Tennessee Titans like he will be playing.
#Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey says he doesn't want his trade request to be a distraction to the team and he's focused on getting ready for Thursday's game vs. #Titans. Says he loves Jacksonville and it loves him back. "Last night I was in Ruth's Chris and they were showing hella love"

Ramsey also made it clear that he still has a great relationship with most inside the Jaguars organization and as long as he is with the team he is going to give it everything he has to win ballgames.
Ramsey also said during the interview that he just wants to win, which could give a hint of why he went to the Jaguars' organization requesting a trade.
At times, Ramsey has been considered a distraction to the Jaguars, so this is positive that he is willing to do whatever he can to help the team win, even if he isn't going to be around long-term.
The big question now is will he be on the Jaguars team when they play the Titans on Thursday night. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, trade discussions could move fast because of the sideline confrontation that took place between Ramsey and Doug Marrone.
One league source said he believes Jaguars’ CB Jalen Ramsey could be traded this week, that once there is a sideline confrontation between a head coach and a player, both sides have to move on.

The Jaguars won't just give up Ramsey for unfair compensation though. He is one of the best cornerbacks in the league, and if Ramsey is willing to try and not be a distraction while he is still on the team, I wouldn't expect the Jaguars to make a deal just to make a deal.
