Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey is expected back at practice on Wednesday in a limited fashion according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.

This comes two days after Ramsey saw a back specialist in Houston to look at his injured back. He is only expected to do individual drills, but this is still a step in the right direction as the Jaguars look to get him back on the field.

It's unclear if Ramsey is healthy if he plans on playing or continuing to sit out while he looks for trade. Ramsey has made clear that he wants to be traded, and the Jaguars specifically owner Shahid Khan has made it clear the team won't be trading him away.

Khan said that he wants to do what is best for the team, and he feels that keeping Ramsey is the best thing.

”Obviously, football is a team sport and I'm sensitive to what individual insight or viewpoint or requests (there) might be,” Khan said via SI.com. ”But we have to do the right thing for the team. We value the values Jalen adds to us, to the Jaguars. I think we value him highly. We're still looking at what is the right thing for the Jaguars, and I think right now the best thing is to have him be part of the team.”

It's only Wednesday so if Ramsey can take part in team drills in the next couple of days, maybe he can suit up on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.
