Jacksonville Jaguars' superstar cornerback, Jalen Ramsey, is no stranger to making headlines. There has been a lot of talk about his contract situation in recent months, and that's only become a louder argument lately.

In Week 2, something happened that raised the stakes. Jalen Ramsey had a heated exchange with head coach Doug Marrone on the sidelines during their 13-12 loss to the Houston Texans.

Then came the news that he asked for a trade.

Amidst all of this craziness, a question has been brought up. Who is the best cornerback in football?

For Ramsey, that answer is way too easy.

Ramsey thinks the best cornerback in the NFL is … Jalen Ramsey. He doesn't think there's an argument either. However, if he did need to make an argument, he has made a strong case for himself with his work on the field too.

In fact, just heading into last week, DeAndre Hopkins of the Texans (who many believe is the best wide receiver in the NFL) showed mutual respect for Ramsey talking about how much he loved the challenge of going against him.

Ramsey's been upset with the way he's used on the defense though. Jacksonville's use of him in zone coverage when he feels he's best in man-to-man has caused a rift between him and the coaching staff. A rift that was already growing because of his want for a new contract.

It remains to be seen if Ramsey is traded or not. Wherever he's playing though, one thing's for sure. That team will have the best cornerback in the NFL. At least, they will if you ask Ramsey (and a lot of other people too if we're being honest).
