Amid his trade request, Jalen Ramsey intends to play on Thursday night as the Jacksonville Jaguars square off against the Tennessee Titans. If Ramsey does play, the coveted cornerback wouldn't be able to play in two games this week if he's traded, per Adam Schefter.
At the beginning of this week, an NFL team reached out to the league office and asked whether Jalen Ramsey could play Sunday for that team after he played Thursday for the Jaguars, per source. League informed the team no, that it’s one game per player per week.

Earlier in the week, the Jaguars cornerback demanded a trade from the organization following a fallout with head coach Doug Marrone. While speaking to the media on Tuesday, Ramsey reiterated that he did ask the team to trade him, but he was focused on Thursday night's game.
Throughout this week, Ramsey has practiced with the team and there haven't been any signs that he won't suit up on Thursday. However, if he does decide to play, the standout cornerback is unable to play this weekend for his new team.
Thus, this could cause Jacksonville or Ramsey to make the decision to sit out against the Titans. There are reports that the Jaguars could look to move their former first-round pick on Friday.
Nonetheless, there are multiple teams who are expressing an extensive amount of interest in Ramsey. With the question on whether he can play or not coming from a team that plays on Sunday, we can eliminate the Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins as possible trade partners.
Along with trading for Ramsey, it is likely that his eventual suitor will also need to commit to giving him an extension in the near future. The confident cornerback attempted to get an extension from the Jaguars in the offseason with no fruitful results.
