The Jacksonville Jaguars have been cautious with running back Leonard Fournette's lingering hamstring injury. However, the second-year back could not help but announce his status for Week 4.

Fournette took it upon himself to relay to the masses on Twitter that he would be available for Sunday's matchup versus the New York Jets. It appears he was quickly notified to delete the post, via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk:

Fournette took to Twitter and wrote that he’s “happy to be back” for Sunday’s game. However, he later deleted that tweet.

The fact that Fournette was forced to take his post down should come as no surprise. Teams love to keep the state of their roster a secret up until they absolutely need to, especially when it comes to their star players. The Jaguars had listed him as questionable all week and were hoping to keep it that way until game-time.

Although Fournette had to rescind his post, it is safe to assume that he will be good to go. There had been plenty of concern regarding his hamstring and he acknowledged that the injury can be tricky to deal with. Fortunately, it appears he has made some tremendous strides in his recovery.

While he may be healthy enough to play, it still remains to be seen whether or not Jacksonville will ease him back into his usual workload. Running back T.J. Yeldon has proven to be a viable complementary option and he has also been cleared to play this Sunday. That said, there is a very good chance the Jagaurs will look to split their touches this week.
